Are you afraid of booking your trip to Sydney due to their living standards? Or you just want to know your possible budget? Sydney, not the cheapest city you can go to. However, it doesn’t need to be expensive. Staying in hostels and making your own meals can help you hold on to your budget. And even eating out, doesn’t need to cost much. There are trendy places you can go to and enjoy a meal of $15, such as in Spice Alley. You can also save some money if you decide to walk. The city center of Sydney is walkable. I enjoyed walking through the city. I would say that this stay in Sydney was the backpackers plus stay. I stayed in a hostel but did not prepare my meals. Overall, I walked everywhere, but did go to the Opera House to watch a ballet show. How much did I spent for 2 weeks? How expensive is Sydney?
Solo backpacking for two weeks.
I like to call it backpacking plus. I watched my budget but still enjoyed the more “expensive” things. This budget is for one person for two weeks in Sydney.
Not preparing my own meals, eating out, but still watching the budget.
Most things were for free. But also went to some paid museums and swimming pool. Also included one ballet show in the Opera House.
This did not include the plane tickets.
Only slept in the same hostel, in a female dorm.
Some souvenirs for back home, a bag, shoes, shampoo and couple of other small things.
Impressive but true, nothing.
