Oh Aruba.. How much I fell in love with you, even I did not expect that. I have been lucky to have visited different bounty beaches around the world. Not sure if this is a hidden gem, at least not for the Americans, but for my European friends I would say so. I have been to Curacao and I would say that that island is more authentic. More like a rough diamond. However, Aruba is a very well shaped diamond and worth to add on your bucketlist. It is a real paradise. This is why you need to go to Aruba!

The very friendly people. It is amazing how friendly they are. Their kindness. It really made us feel at home. Another big plus, Aruba is very safe and clean. They have a plastic ban! Another big plus of course are the wide stretch beaches, with very calm waters and great water temperature. But the sea can also be a bit rough, so you can do some kite surfing. Enough for everyone.

Aruba is a foodies paradise. Good food for any budget. From fancy restaurants to delicious food trucks or romantic sand in the feet places. More about where to eat and sleep? Check out this post. Do you think you can only relax and do nothing in Aruba? Well, you can if you want. But in case you are an adventure seeker, there is plenty out there for you. We enjoyed our time in the National Park with a 4×4 Jeep.

When in Aruba you will notice that the atmosphere is very chill, relaxed and lay back. That is fantastic in case you just want to relax, enjoy your time of. Always good weather. We found out that Aruba does not have a hurricane season. Yes, they know rain, but overall the weather is nice. Aruba, happy island.
